Asbestos Testing
Pre-1990 buildings that contain materials such as drywall, textured ceilings, or vinyl flooring often contain asbestos. Exposure to asbestos can cause serious long-term health issues. Find out if you are living, or working, with asbestos and what to do about it with our fast and effective testing services.
Hazardous Material Reports
Prior to renovating or demolishing a pre-1990 building, WorkSafeBC requires that a Qualified Person (QP) performs a Hazardous Materials Survey (HMS Report) for the building in question.
Clearance Letters
Prior to renovating or demolishing a pre-1990 building, WorkSafeBC requires that a Qualified Person assesses the building for hazardous materials and issues a Clearance Letter to ensure the safety of occupants and workers.
Air Monitoring & Clearance
When undergoing an asbestos abatement, WorkSafeBC requires that a Qualified Person monitors the airborne asbestos fibre concentration levels to ensure they do not exceed allowable limits. Upon completion, air clearance is required to ensure workers and occupants can safely return to the space.
Radon Testing
While nearly all homes in Canada contain a certain level of radon, only a proper assessment and analysis using special equipment can determine whether the concentration levels are safe for you and your family. If excess levels of radon are found, a mitigation may be required.
Mould Sampling & Removal
Mould is commonly found in attics and crawl spaces in older and newer homes in British Columbia due to our damp climate. To determine if mould is present in your home, a visual assessment and air sampling can be performed. Our remediation specialists have the tools and training to treat, remove, and prevent future mould growth.
